Happy Fridays my lovelies!

Our office has basically been an office/storage space since we got it. (It was cheaper to pay for a larger office than to keep paying for storage units.) My folks have hung onto all sorts of stuff for years and through all the downsizing of their lives they have stored more and lived with less. It’s been an ok transition.

They have finally been able to let go. We are going to have an auction that will be held locally and online: maybe next week or the week after? Depends on how fast we get this place tidied up. I’ll keep taking snappies of the transformation. It’s pretty fun! Change!

@KindaGamey would humbly like to thank http://malwarebytes.org/ for removing a virus that so many programs failed to find and that he himself could not destroy manually.

My girlfriend’s laptop had a particularly nasty virus/malware. It would pop-up spam messages and then later pop up an ad for Virus Removal 2009 or some bullshit as if it had the cure for the mess it itself created. When I would go to shutdown it told me Rundll32.exe crapped its pants which was a very good clue, but the registry edits were so deep I never did find them all. And even after killing the malicious .dll files in windows/system32 they would all come back after reboot. After messing about with .dll files, registry edits, NOD32, Ad-Aware, housecall.trendmicro.com, and so many other fruitless attempts, malwarebytes.org fixed it all for free!
