I have listened to the Explorer Series. It is so very interesting to be able to listen to research participants channeling other energies and energy systems all in all there are about 30 or so free downloads available here...

Hi! My name's Amelia Walton, I'm the Director of Community Development here at The Monroe Institute (TMI). Thanks for posting and of course for your curiosity! I wanted to let you and your readers know that there are a couple of ways to get started with TMI if you're not able to come to the first of our program series, The Gateway Voyage, at this time.

We have recently launched a newly designed website that has a fully integrated social network (think facebook for Explorers) that you can join for free and begin connecting with other link minded folks. Once you're a member of the community you can start checking out our forums and share some of your thoughts and ideas, pose questions, and get a conversation going. You can also listen to the Explorer Series for FREE! Check out the research, TMI wiki and much more.

I know that this doesn't really address the root of your question (something that I'll be happy to talk with you more about via email :) but this is a good start. While it's unfortunate that a monetary value has to placed on the invaluable experience of coming to TMI, your week here includes all of your lodging, 3 great meals every day, guidance from our awesome facilitators and the inevitable joy that folks find from connecting with each other in the group setting among other things. And as a final thought, I do want to add that we in no way guarantee an OBE during your stay here, and really encourage people to think about the power of the IN body experience that you have by taking a week to completely de-stress, relax, fall into a safe place of no-time and tune into your inner guidance. And in the midst of all of that, it's quite possible that you'll find yourself bumping against the ceiling and beyond...
Please feel free to email me directly with any questions at amelia.walton@monroeinstitute.org, and thank you again for your interest and support, we love checking out your blog and look forward to hearing more from you and all the readers!
Best,
Amelia Walton
