It was one of the 6 CD’s that Melanie had made me and was that last one that I discovered after I thought I had already heard them all. What a wonderful surprise.

Thank you, I’m just obsessed with this Fleet Foxes album! I don’t resonate with a lot of music so this must be something. It is just up my peace-loving laid-back hippie alley. It hasn’t left my car CD player for a while now.

I was depressed about money one night and Mia and I took a walk because I couldn’t get out of my funk… we ended up walking up on this new place called Garnet’s. They didn’t even have their ABC license. So sipping my green tea I sat moping at the bar till a familiar tune wafted out across the restaurant. Fleet Foxes! My album! My songs! I couldn’t stop smiling, my funk broken.
