This was something I wouldn’t have chosen to do myself, but Dad wanted us to do it and it turned out to be a great time. The crazy thing is all that stuff out there, roots and all, is free floating on top of the water – so for the guy giving the tour (Bob) he needs to not only be able to know his way around, but he needs to be able to keep track of what islands of vegetation have completely shifted and moved overnight. The whole roadmap might be different the next day!

He did a fantastic job explaining everything and he really knew his stuff.
