I was taught the rules by stoners so either a) they taught me wrong b) greed is the predecessor to zonk c) greed is a slimmed down version of zonk. I've never used straights or any of that business. Oh, here's the entry for <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greed_(dice_game)" rel="nofollow">Greed (dice game)</a> ~ that's pretty much what I play only I don't do straights, pairs, it's 300 to get on the board initially, and we use 5 dice (the packages at CVS have 5 dice).
